David Linthicum, the highly popular SOA thought leader and practitioner, is keynoting this afternoon here in San Jose, CA, on November 19 at the 14th International SOA World Conference & Expo.

In his career, Linthicum has assisted in the formation of many of the ideas for modern distributed computing including Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and B2B application integration. Kand's session will first cover various possible customizations and issues related to those customizations and lifecycle management. Then he'll be providing guidelines for designing process for both data and process extensibility. Finally he will elaborate patterns like externalizing the decision points for developing the agile processes often required in today’s rapidly changing business requirements and then outline some solutions to retain the customizations.
